We still have a Church With Help From Above

Notice table on the right, Crib with straw was not there at the time

We still have all our Stained Glass
On little table the cloth did not hang down as far

See how it burned right along the edge of table. The burned spot was where the candle wax ran. It is a artificial wreath so did not go up in flames. This happen Sunday and we found it Wednesday evening.

The burned spot on carpet is about 3 inches and only two places, one on each side of table where the cloth had burned and dropped to floor.
Candles are really not safe and when you use them only once in a while it is easy to forget to blow them out!

Heading home

Heading home going through Bennington, Vermont.
That is what you call putting a lady on a pedistal?
They have several stautes placed infront of Stores.
Near N.Y. State missed my hwy 7 ended up on 9 or 11?
in Bennington

We made it to Maine! Great I can't wait to taste the Lobster!
And there it is a Lobster Sign, and on the window said place order at the General Store.
Right next door to ClamShell Cafe! Short of the story is eggs and sausage breakfast had do.
Every place said closed or open at 5 pm on weekend.
Oh well had a meal set on beach and let Viola look for shells.

This is 10 6 2008 and they had snow up there>
Mt. Washington, we ate lunch out side in light rain, hail and a few snow flakes while setting under picnic umbrella.

Falls and Fall Color

Going in to the White Mountains in New Hampshire
I think that railing means you should not be on that side?
(There is a Cliff on the other side of the trees.)

Better Check to see if any cousins behind me.
(read the Barn comments and you will know why)

Yes just what I need for the Front Lawn!
We did find a Nursery down the road from the Wildflower
place and thank goodness there were a few flowers left out side!

Oh yes Viola had to see the wildflowers
This time of year?
Taken near the Round Barn

You will find out I take a lot of pictures of Barns - Old Barns-
They may be a thing of the past some time and the only thing we have left is memories and old pictures some where?
Spent a lot of time in Barns when growing up - a place to play and hunt for snakes and such. Jumping from the loft if not afraid and if you were there always was a cousin to give you a shove to a little straw below.
What is a Vermont trip with out the Covered Bridge?

If you go to Vermont or New Hampshire besure to be there Oct 3 thru Oct 7 longer if you can!

Viola read about 2 brothers
Time was short for a lot of children before the 1900
on another head stone for 2 Brothers killed when a load of wood on a wagon over turned 16 & 19 years of age.

These next few pictures will be of Vermont's Fall also some old Cemetery, like the old head stones and the writtings on them.
