Ate today, but still not used to Wasabi, a Japanese Horseradish!Used just a little but still burns. The first time I ate Sushi was a few years ago at Padre Island Convention Center (Taste of the Islands Show). They had put a good size helping on my plate of Wasabi. Being uneducated I thought it was Avocado Dip, taking a good size teaspoon full - I'm lucky to be alive today! Not able to breathe and found some one napkin on the table to spit out the un swallowed and had 2 tickets left to purchase a beer across the aisle to help cool down.
I did survive.
