The Easter Bunny
The Line Up
The race is on
Don't get in my way

Tree of Plenty
One Egg is left hanging on a limb
Even the house gets Egged? Lucky a suction cup attached.
Hey I can find two at a time
But I have the most!
OK, there always a Ham at Easter
Well us Grandparents have to be in a Picture.

Harlingen, Texas & Jackson Street Murals

Entering from the west on outer 83 hwy with hwy 83 above with some of my favorite Yucca's
Side street off Jackson, Viola wants to be on Jackson St. once a month music and street shopping for 4 or 5 blocks.

THE FOLLOWING PICTURES ARE MURALS
on the back of buildings in the alley with parking lot.

I wish my Photography was as good as these Artist!
I had left my setting on partial night with a little light. Though it was cloudy out.
Above is a Literacy Building? on the next block.
This wall above and below is around a Garden Nursery - and yes Viola goes here also

This almost looks like Mosaic Tile - and Just think I make mistakes painting the color on one wall?
I could not get the building on the right in with out losing part of this picture and I should have been closer? But the building on the right was an old Sinclair Gas Station.
Older Building on Jackson Street.
The old and new combined in part of a Shopping Center on Tyler Street

Sushi could had some advice the first time eating!

Ate today, but still not used to Wasabi, a Japanese Horseradish!
Used just a little but still burns. The first time I ate Sushi was a few years ago at Padre Island Convention Center (Taste of the Islands Show). They had put a good size helping on my plate of Wasabi. Being uneducated I thought it was Avocado Dip, taking a good size teaspoon full - I'm lucky to be alive today! Not able to breathe and found some one napkin on the table to spit out the un swallowed and had 2 tickets left to purchase a beer across the aisle to help cool down.
I did survive.

Portrait of a Crock by Waters Edge

A Pink Crock At That
A lonely shoe at that in such tall grass by waters edge,
but there is no report of any one missing in the area.
Hope it has washed in from the bay, from some one who grew tired of their shoes,
for there is no leg or foot attached?
Viola had hoped it was a Baby Roseate Spoonbill.
But I do not believe these Crocks reproduce in such tall Grass?

Birding at Padre Island Convention Center

Roseate Spoonbill
tried to get a picture with a full reflexion in water but to many
weeds.

Well what is a little birding with out an gator for they eat birds.
Plus you always have a turtle near water.
Great Egret in flight, they are more graceful than a swan!

Another one and on one leg the water is not to cold but see a lot of the birds standing on one leg?
Another Spoonbill grooming may have been waiting on the one in the other wet land?
They have built up this wet land before more hotels were taking every thing over.
Put up a lot of walk ways and blinds along the inter-bay side.
Ahhh food for the birds? But doesn't it look like Summer?
