It's a North American Hawk Moth

I thought I had a young humming bird, till I ran to computer and up loaded the first images.

Moved and hovered almost like a humming bird, but the antennas and stripes a humming bird does not have!

Yes we did have humming birds here this evening also.

Think I had camera set on portrait on this and not high speed but liked the out come of the garage behind and through the window looked like clouds behind in some.

Hawk Moth again zipped from flower to flower.

Was hard to keep up even with high speed and below you see him beside Viola's arm.

Yesterday was a dove below the feeder. Today 6 sparrow on it and should have taken picture but was leaving. One of them was just threw the seeds out as fast as he could must have been looking for bugs?

Kristi's 39th Birthday

Kristi 39 - hard to believe!

Still seems like she should be a little girl to her dad.

But thinking this morning how my Mother would have loved our Daughters and Grand-kids. She had wanted Grandchildren so bad. We did not know for sure that Viola was expecting Gayla at the time, so we did not get to tell her before she passed away. Although Viola thought Mom suspected ?

Now 2 daughters, Gayla and Kristi not far away but still a short stay for a day trip.

Hope they always will be close to one another.

But this side looks like polluted water running from the old dump site at the head of the pool? Not Muddy but Rust! Running over the little fall look clear? lol

I know my eyes are messed up but it looked like a person there or a Hologram was neat. Camera would not even do it justice.

Cataracts and Skin Cancer caused by UV rays.

Doctor trimmed edge of ear and then cauterized it with hot iron to stop the bleeding.

Burning flesh does not smell good, even that little bit. lol

Feed Me, No Feed Me

This is an all day job for Mom and Dad!

While I was watching both parents arrived one behind the other, while the other one would wait to feed their young.

I think they were saying my turn or just Feed Me?

Come on has to be More?

Do not know why they pick my down spout every year? I even tear it down while they are trying to build but look up and they have put it back.
