Freddy Fender's Memorial at San Bendito

The above are self explanatory but below is some thing special and tragic.
When I was looking the grave over and Viola was wondering what had happen to the two Girls? A Lady and her young daughter
came up
, Viola asked if they knew what had happened to the two young women?
The mother said some thing to her daughter in Spanish with tears in her eyes.
Her daughter said to us that her sisters were hit by a drunk driver and one had lived for 3 months longer then passed away. One was 21 and the other was 16.

I told them was sorry for their lost!
I went on taking pictures though the grave yard, they sat in mourning on the bench they had there. They sat for half an hour or more and as they went to their car and drove by waved to us.

Seems funny the old with the new graves and some time previous some of the old markers were Vandalized. Some you could not read for the weather is rough on every thing.

The top cross broken off the top of an old stone. It is of a "Supreme Woodsman"

A fairly new grave setting with a design of a White Dove with a seating area.

Back at the back a stone with the markings of "Woodsmen of the World Memorial"
Elias Worley 1871 to 1915
Viola's Grandfather Sweet was a Woodsman also, had his picture with uniform and axe. That may not have been it looked Woodsmen up and it is a Life Ins Co.

Some stones are blocked by trees growing up and limbs falling down from ice storm and City was in cleaning up.

All styles of graves and colors.
.

I imagine he like Horses or rode them he was only 15.

Two old Vaults one top is missing and the other starting to crack. No dates or names.

The Vaults at the back one was dated 1925 one was level with the ground.
Some one place an old doll on this a Texas State shape. a cross and a head stone in the ground no markings.

A Family burial plot all gated in.

Wow, that is weird how they have them. Also weird to put Cheetahlicious on the back of a tombstone, but very sad.
